    I've been going here for a few years. My mom was a beautician and was the person who exclusively cut my hair for most of my life. But as she approached her mid 70's, it was not really in her wheel house to stand and cut my hair for 30-45 minutes, so I looked out for a place I could go to. One thing I want to note is that I have very thick hair and there's a technique called "layering" that makes my hair cut look correct. If a barber can't do that technique my hair comes out looking odd and cutting other parts shorter won't work as it just gets to the point where my hair sticks up. So most of the barbers at Top Barber cannot later properly. I've had 3 bad haircuts before I figured out who can do it right. Veronica is hands down the best barber there. She cut my hair exactly like my mom did. There's no other explanation needed, Veronica knows what she is doing. Unfortunately she is almost always busy, in fact over about 40 visits, this afternoon was the very first time I saw her not busy and today was slow due to the flea market. I'm terrible keeping appointments, so that leads to the next two barbers...Danny and Kevin. Both approximate layering....actually this past visit, Danny used the completely correct technique so maybe he learned. Whatever it is, both these barbers cut my hair correctly. So Veronica, Danny, and Kevin do a very good job. The four stars are for them. Actually Veronica would get 5 stars and Danny and Kevin would get 4 1/2 stars. The rest....at your own risk. Also the card giving a free haircut after 10 paid haircuts is a neat perk.

    Excellent! Outstanding! Kevin exceeds all expectations! Kevin is warm, friendly, & exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable at cutting hair. I described how I'd like it cut, "Fade into a #2 around sides and back, tapered into the top; Cut the top medium-short, enough to comb & style" and he understood immediately! Halfway through, I asked for shorter/tighter sides, and Kevin had no problem adjusting it. He is really good! He's very precise and meticulous; & is attentive to every small hair and detail. Kevin makes certain I [we] look good when we leave! Personal service & attention goes Above & Beyond! He shaved smooth the deep neck fur, scruffy face fuzz, & evened-out my overgrown brows, temples, and hairline! He finished with a short, invigorating neck massage! - & manually stretched my tense neck till it popped and released the tension! I left I looking & feeling GREAT! It is an absolute TREAT to get a haircut by Kevin! I highly recommend!
